The schedulle od the meeting will start on Thuesday, May 9, at Universidad Libre, Sección El Bosque, Cra. 70 # 53-40; close to El Dorado Avenida (Calle 26) and neighbor to the Botanical Garden of Bogota. During this day the IEEE AESS Members will atend the AESS association introduction talk and the following activities: Project Objectives of "Distributed Sensing Technology and Educational Initiatives" (Objective of DSTEI), explained by Dr. Marcus Davis and Dr. Lorenzo LoMonte, IEEE AESS Distinguished Lecturers. Presentations of DSTEI Projects by the student teams of the National University of San Antonio Abad of Cusco, Peru and the University of Cauca, Colombia. Also the participan will atend a Distinguishes Lecture on Systems Engineering. In the afternoon there will be a dinner for the South American volunteers offered by AESS International.
On Wednesday, May 10, at the Pontificia universidad Javeriana, Facultad de Ingeniería, Cra 7 No 40 - 62, Neighbor of the eastern hills of Bogota; the participants will atend this activities: Opening remarks of the summit meeting of South America presidents of aerospace electronic systems chapters by Dr. Mark Davis and Dr. Lorenzo LoMonte. AESS Chapter reports on aerospace and electronic systems activities presented by each Chapter President of South American Contries.
On Thuesday,May 11, the participants will attend several social and academic activities around the city.
On Fryday, May 12, four competitors of CANSAT will give a spech in the Latin American IEEE AESS CANSAT Conference along with the participation of the members of the Board of Governors IEEE AESS. The CANSAT conference will be held in the Building Wise Caldas at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, Bogotá, Colombia, on Friday, may 12 2023; sponsored by IEEE UD and IEEE PUJ Student Branches With the presence of the distinguished Colombian scientist Jorge Reynolds, the scientific-astronomical writer German Puerta and other personalities.
